I then told her about the two ladies who had been waiting for 4 hours and she was appalled. She said there was no excuse for that and she called one of the people with a tablet over to get our room cards. We told her we had been waiting since 12:30 for a room. We told her and she said she had our daughter on the phone. The lady with whom our daughter was talking came over to us and asked our names. We were talking with a lady and her mother who had been waiting for 4 hours for a room. She spoke with a lady who said there was no excuse for this.
Our daughter called to see how things were going. We saw people getting room cards but we received no text. by this time people were coming out into the lobby with tablets to check people in. I texted our daughter to say that we were there but waiting for a room. Our friends went on to their tee time and we sat down in the lobby to wait for a text saying the room was ready. We waited in line only to be told the same thing. By this time the line to register had filled up.
We stayed for a while and, since our friends had a golf tee time of 2:36 we went back to registration. After lunch we went back to registration desk and were told the same thing. We said okay and went to lunch in one of the restaurants. We were told the rooms were ready but waiting for final inspection. We were with friends who had made the reservation. We arrived about 12:30 PM on Wednesday, and went to check in.
